HCIL will offer the new Honda Amaze with 1.2 L i-VTEC petrol or 1.5 L i-DTEC diesel engines. Gearbox choices include a 5-speed manual or a CVT. The 1.2 L petrol develops 90 PS and 110 Nm, while the diesel engine develops 100 PS (manual)/80 PS (CVT) and 200 Nm (manual)/160 Nm (CVT). Fuel efficiency as per ARAI stands at 19.5 km/l (petrol manual), 19.0 km/l (petrol automatic), 27.4 km/l (diesel manual), and 23.8 km/l (diesel automatic).

The 2018 Honda Amaze will carry a best-in-class 3 year/unlimited km warranty. Honda has announced that it will offer the first 20,000 customers a special introductory price. As per estimates, the new Amaze will have a starting price of around INR 5.60 lakhs (ex-showroom).
