2018 BMW X3 to be launched in India on April 19

BMW has announced that it will launch the 2018 BMW X3 in India on April 19, 2018. The all-new BMW X3 had its local debut at Auto Expo 2018 last month.

BMW will likely offer the 2018 BMW X3 in India in two specifications: xDrive20d and xDrive30i.

The 2018 BMW X3 is the third generation of the mid-size SUV. Featuring an evolutionary design, the new generation BMW X3 rides on the CLAR platform. BMW will likely offer the all-new SAV in India in two specifications: xDrive20d and xDrive30i. The X3 xDrive20d is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 190 PS and 400 Nm of torque. The X3 xDrive30i employs a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 252 PS and 350 Nm of torque. BMW will offer an 8-speed automatic transmission and an AWD system as standard in the redesigned BMW X3.

On the outside, the 2018 BMW X3 features adaptive LED headlights, LED fog lamps, Kidney Grille with active air flap control, 18- to 21-inch alloy wheels, LED rear lights and twin exhaust tailpipes. 12.3-inch virtual instrument cluster, full-colour head-up display, three-zone automatic climate control, 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with gesture control, Sensatec instrument panel, and Oak Wood trim are some of the main interior features.

The 2018 BMW X3's prices could start at around INR 50 lakh (ex-showroom). The all-new BMW X3 will compete with the Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC, and Volvo XC60.
