The 2018 Hyundai i20 will feature a number of visual changes on the outside. At the front, the small hatchback will adopt the ‘Cascading’ grille, the brand’s new signature design element. The new radiator grille will have mesh pattern inserts. Other changes at the front will include a more aggressive bumper, new fog lamps and reshaped lower grille, and maybe tweaked headlamps as well.

At the rear, the 2018 Hyundai i20 will feature tail lamps with new graphics, redesigned tailgate with space for the repositioned license plate housing and a revised bumper. Interior changes are currently unknown, but spy shots suggest that not much is going to look different here.

The engine and transmission choices are expected to remain unchanged. The current model is available with a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, a 1.4-litre Gamma petrol engine, and a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine, coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission, a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a 6-speed manual transmission respectively.
