The 2018 BMW X3 had its Middle East debut at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show last week. The all-new BMW X3 was unveiled in June this year.
The all-new BMW X3 is the third generation of the Audi Q5 slayer. With an evolutionary design, the Sports Activity Vehicle has incorporated a more contemporary look, both outside and inside. BMW has released the redesigned X3 in sDrive20i, xDrive20i, xDrive30i, M40i, xDrive20d and xDrive20d models. These are available with 2.0- and 3.0-litre petrol and diesel engines, in FWD/AWD and an 8-speed Steptronic transmission.
At Dubai, BMW displayed the 2018 BMW X3 xDrive30i M Sport, which has a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine (252 PS/350 Nm) under the hood. 8-speed Steptronic automatic and 8-speed Sports Steptronic automatic are the transmission choices for this engine model. The xDrive AWD system is standard.
The M Sport package for the all-new BMW X3 xDrive30i includes M aerodynamic package, BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line window graphic, 19-21-inch M-light alloy wheels, M Sport brakes with blue-painted callipers and M Sport suspension. The X3 M40i’s Phytonic Blue paint is optional. The particular model in the images is fitted with the 20-inch M LMR double spoke 699 wheels.
Performance Control torque vectoring system, adaptive LED headlights, LED fog lights, M logo on the fenders, M leather (variable sport) steering wheel, anthracite-coloured BMW Individual headliner, sports seats (front), M door sills, M driver footrest and M pedals are some more highlights of the 2018 BMW X3 xDrive30i M Sport.
BMW builds the third-gen BMW X3 at the Spartanburg plant in the USA. Johannes Seibert, Managing Director, BMW Group Middle East, has confirmed that the 2018 BMW X3 will go on sale in the Middle East in the next few weeks.
