India Kawasaki Motors has launched the 2018 Kawasaki Z900 Limited Edition in the country. The changes are only visual and the mechanical bits of the bike is the same as the 2017 Z900.
The 2018 Kawasaki Z900 Special Edition comes in metallic spark black colour. Apart from the new colour, the motorcycle also gets some graphical changes to make it more eye-catching. Speaking on the new arrival Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said:
Our Z900 received a very positive response. I hope that with this new addition, passionate customers those who waited for this colour will be happy. Responding to the requirements of our customers is one of our most important priorities. We, being a premium brand, always strive to make our products with a certain class through its appearance and technology.

The Kawasaki Z900 is a Completely Built Unit (CBU), which is produced in Kawasaki Motors Thailand (KMT) currently. The technical specifications and the price of Z900 of 2018 are kept same. The motorcycle draws power from a 948cc in-line four engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. It develops 125 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine pairs with a 6-speed transmission.

Suspension components include 41 mm adjustable upside down fork at the front and an adjustable back-link monoshock at the rear. Dual 300 mm petal discs at the front and a single 250 mm petal disc at the rear perform the anchoring duties.
Based on the response from customers India Kawasaki Motors will evaluate the stock of the new colour option. The other two colours- green and black will continue to be available. The Kawasaki Z900 was launched in the country in March, at INR 9 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi.
