Hyundai has introduced a new variant of the Hyundai Creta named ‘Hyundai Creta Sport’ in Brazil.
The Hyundai Creta Sport has the styling to justify the suffix. Its radiator grille has a gloss black border, and a uniquely styled air dam grille and a gloss black skid plate. Changes to the profile include glow black ORVMs and unique 17-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, gloss black skid plate and new rear spoiler - also in gloss black - add to the style. Up top, the roof bars and the shark fin antenna are in gloss black.
Inside, the Hyundai Creta Sport has an all-black cabin. Black leather and fabric seats, black headliner and 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are the key features Hyundai mentions. Safety highlights include front airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control and Hill-Start Assist control. Under the hood, there’s the 2.0-litre 16V flex-fuel engine. It develops 156 cv (156 hp) and 19.1 kgf.m (187.31 Nm) of torque running on petrol and 166 cv (166 hp) and 20.5 kgf.m (201.04 Nm) of torque running on diesel. A 6-speed automatic transmission sends the drive to the wheels.

The Hyundai Creta Sport will go on sale in Brazil in November. Hyundai hasn’t announced the price, a figure between R$95,000 (INR 19,64,585.48) and R$98,000 (INR 20,26,376.82) is expected. Hyundai India has not spoken about a new variant for the Creta, but we reckon the Creta Sport is worth having a look.
