Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. has revealed the 2018 Kawasaki KLX250 for their market. It is available for purchase early October 2017.
The 2018 Kawasaki KLX250 comes in two variants - standard and Camo Edition. The former is priced at USD 5,349, while the latter costs USD 5,549. The new bike features KX-inspired bodywork; two-piece radiator shroud with dual high-capacity Denso radiators for lighter weight and better cooling efficiency. It also gets fully digital instrumentation and fork protectors.

Powering the 2018 Kawasaki KLX250 is a 249cc single cylinder DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. Speaking of which, the bike features a new fuel injection system for improved fuel efficiency and performance. The powerplant mates with a 6-speed gearbox. Kawasaki has not revealed the power and torque figures yet.
Coming to the cycle parts, the bike comes with fully adjustable suspension for both front and rear wheel. The front end features a 43 mm inverted cartridge-style fork, while the rear is a gas-charged Uni-Trak monoshock. The front wheel travel is 255 mm while the rear stands at 230 mm. The spoke wheels measure 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear. Brakes include 250 mm front and 240 mm rear disc.

The fuel tank can hold 7.5 litres and the bike weighs 138 kg, kerb. The seat is 889 mm high. With the new bike, Kawasaki is targeting riders seeking a less expensive, lightweight dual-purpose motorcycle that is capable off-road.
