To celebrate the anniversary of the Renault Kwid in India, Renault has launched the Renault Kwid 02 Anniversary Edition. The special edition model is priced from INR 3,42,800 (ex-showroom Delhi). Renault has sold more than 1.75 lakh units of the Kwid since its sales launch in October 2015.
Red and white accents, SportLine graphics with 02 Insignia on the doors, 02 Insignia on the hood, two-tone graphics, C-Pillar and roof SportLine graphics, red or white Sportline painted wheels and front and rear skid plates are the sporty exterior modifications for the Kwid's 02 Anniversary Edition model.
On the inside the Renault Kwid 02 Anniversary continues with the sporty theme, featuring elements like Sportline seat upholstery with 02 branding, steering wheel and floor mats with 02 insignia, two-tone gear knob, side air vents with dark ivory contours and piano black centre fascia with dark ivory contours.
The 02 Anniversary Edition model is available in RXL 0.8L SCe, RXT 0.8L SCe, RXL 1.0L SCe and RXT 1.0L SCe configurations.

The Renault Kwid 02 Anniversary has no mechanical changes from the regular model. The 0.8-litre engine produces 54 PS and 72 Nm of torque, while the 1.0-litre engine develops 68 PS and 91 Nm of torque. Both three-cylinder petrol engines are coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. There's no AMT in the celebratory model.
