The 2017 Maruti Dzire features an evolutionary design evoking reactions online of it being the best-looking Dzire yet.

The all-new Maruti Dzire rides on the lighter and rigid new-generation platform “HEARTECT” platform that underpins even the all-new Suzuki Wagon R launched in Japan in February. The new platform should make the car significantly more fuel efficient. Engine options will likely include a 1.2-litre petrol unit and a 1.3-litre diesel unit and transmission choices should include 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual.

Exterior highlights of the 2017 Maruti Dzire are LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, wide front grille with a chrome bezel, new alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, redesigned bumpers with chrome accents on the front unit, and a moulded boot spoiler.

The 2017 Maruti Dzire's cabin sports a beige and black colour combination with chrome, silver and faux wood trim materials, a restyled centre console, instrument binnacle, automatic climate control buttons, leather-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel with buttons for audio and Bluetooth telephony (next to the horn pad), and a 7-inch Smartplay touchscreen.
