The Maruti S-Cross was launched here in August 2015, and is now set for a mid-cycle facelift. While the Euro-spec S-Cross received a facelift last July, the Indian-spec S-Cross, as per a new report from Autocar India, will receive the facelift around Diwali (October 2017).

The development was confirmed by C.V Raman, Executive Director, Engineering, Maruti Suzuki, who said that “the S-Cross will get refreshed and launch will take place around Diwali”. The changes should closely resemble the Euro-spec version.

On the outside, the facelifted S-Cross features a bolder radiator grille with vertical chrome slats and chrome surround, more expressive, LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, more aggressive front bumper with chrome garnish outside the fog lamp enclosure, new design alloy wheels, chrome window sill and tweaked, LED tail lamps. On the inside, Maruti Suzuki could upgrade the Smartplay infotainment system with Android Auto compatibility, although it's worth noting that the Euro-spec version still doesn't have this feature.
