Possibly make its debut in Chengdu on September 2.
According to Autohome, the 2017 Hyundai Verna could make its world debut at the 2016 Chengdu Motor Show in China on September 2. It will be sold in China initially, before entering key markets like India and Russia (as the Hyundai Solaris) next year.
Previewed by the Hyundai Verna concept from the 2016 Beijing Motor Show in April, the styling of the next gen Hyundai Verna is evolutionary, hinging on the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language. It features a large hexagonal grille with chrome bezels, sleek projector headlamps, sportier bumpers, LED taillamps, redesigned C-pillar and a moulded spoiler.
The next gen Hyundai Verna is reported to measure 4,380 mm in length, 1,728 mm in width, 1,460 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. The wheelbase has been extended by 30 mm over the outgoing Verna, that should translate to better knee room for rear passengers.
