Facelifted model will debut in Sao Paulo in November.
The 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift) has been spied testing in Brazil, courtesy Quatro Rodas. The facelifted Ford EcoSport test mule seen in the new spyshot doesn't reveal much due to the camouflaged front- and rear-end, but does show that the profile has remained unchanged. Previous spyshots have revealed more about the exterior changes though.
Up front, the new Ford EcoSport (facelift) is expected to have new headlamps, grille and foglamps. Ford may borrow some cues from the Ford Edge and Ford Everest (Ford Endeavour) for the front fascia. The rear-end won't change much, and unlike the European and possibly the Chinese version too, the spare wheel in the South American version will continue being externally mounted. Inside, the major changes should include new Ford SYNC 2 infotainment system with a colour display, new instrument panel and new HVAC controls.

The 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift) will reportedly debut a new 1.5-litre Dragon naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces around 130 hp. However, it's unknown whether this engine will be offered in India where the current options include 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel. The facelifted EcoSport will be unveiled at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show in November.
