Expected to arrive between late-2016 and early-2017.
The next gen Fiat Punto was spied up close in Brazil, one of the biggest markets for the B segment hatchback. It is expected to arrive between late-2016 and early-2017.
Codenamed X6H, the next gen Punto is expected to have a slightly longer wheelbase, whilst the overall length will remain more or less similar to the current model. It is reported to be based on a stretched version of the Fiat 326 platform that underpins the Palio and Uno in Brazil.
Spyshots of the interior reveal a more premium dashboard that is expected to feature better plastics and a contemporary design. The steering wheel is nearly similar to the Fiat Tipo, while the center console has only four buttons in the middle and HVAC controls below. A 5-inch UConnect infotainment system could be integrated as a freestanding display.
