Audi Indonesia is showcasing the 2017 Audi Q5 at the 2017 Gaikindo Indonesia Auto Show. In the archipelago, prices for the Q5 start from 1,495 million rupiah.
The model showcased has the S-Line body kit. Standard features include LED headlights, LED taillamps, 19-inch alloy rims, front and rear parking aid, and the option of 5 different exterior colours. At the tape, the new Q5 is 4,663 mm in length, 2,140 mm (with ORVMs open) in width, 1,659 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,819 mm.
It features an all-black interior with leather upholstery, diamond pattern stitching and contrast silver trim. The top-end grade features a Bang and Olufsen audio system, MMI Radio Plus with a 7-inch TFT display, Audi Virtual Cockpit driver's display, electric adjustable front seats, cruise control, sport contour multifunction steering wheel and front sports seats (part of S-Line package).
The new Q5 is based on the new MLB Evo platform shared with the Audi A4 and A5. It is claimed to be 90 kg lighter than the equivalent variant of its previous generation. The only engine option in Indonesia is a 2.0-litre 4-cyl TFSI petrol that produces 252 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, and Quattro AWD comes standard.
