Next to the 2017 Audi Q5, Audi is showcasing the 2017 Audi A5 Sportback at the 2017 Vienna Auto Show, and here's is the all-new 5-door coupe from the show, courtesy of Raphael from autofilou.
The 2017 Audi A5 Sportback measures 4,733 mm in length, 1,843 mm in width (2,029 mm with door mirrors open) and 1,386 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,824 mm. The second generation model sits on the MLB-Evo platform, utilised by the Q7, A4 and Q5, and will underpin the next-gen Audi A8 due this year. It is as much as 85 kg lighter compared to the previous generation.
The all-new Audi A5 Sportback is available with two TFSI and three TDI engines which are up to 22% more fuel-efficient and 17% more powerful. Specifically, the options are 140 kW (190 PS) 2.0-litre TFSI petrol, 185 kW (252 PS) 2.0-litre TFSI petrol, 140 kW (190 PS) 2.0-litre TDI diesel, 160 kW (218 PS) 3.0-litre TDI diesel and 210 kW (286 PS) 3.0-litre TDI diesel. 6-speed manual, 7-speed S-Tronic and 8-speed Tiptronic are the transmission choices. The Quattro all-wheel-drive system is available on select models.
