Ford Fiesta £3,200 dearer in the UK since last month.
Ford has revised the price of its Ford Fiesta range in the UK to make room for the recently introduced India-made Ford Ka+. Two lower trim levels have been discontinued, resulting in a higher entry-level price for the Fiesta.
The Ford Fiesta Studio and Ford Fiesta Style have been dropped from the UK line-up and the range now starts with the Zetec trim level priced from £13,545. Citing Ford officials, reports say that the trim levels discontinued didn't have a significant contribution to the car's sales anyways.
With the Ford Fiesta starting at £13,545 compared to £10,345 previously, there's less chances of the cannibalization. The India-made Ka+ is available in two trim levels Studio and Zetec, priced at £8,995 and £9,995 respectively. Noteworthy features include 15-inch alloy wheels, electrically operated door mirrors, Ford SYNC infotainment system with a 4.2-inch screen, leather-wrapped steering wheel with remote audio controls and cruise control.

The Ford Ka+ is powered by a 1.2-litre Ti-VCT four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 70 PS and 105 Nm of torque or 85 PS and 112 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard across the range.
