Most of the changes are concentrated on the front-end.

IAB reader Luis Pangilinan has spotted the Nissan Pathfinder facelift testing in Las Vegas. It's expected to be unveiled towards the year end, and will be a welcome upgrade for the current Pathfinder that is on sale in global markets since 2013.

The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is seen testing with camouflaged bumpers, lights and side mirrors.

Although it is camouflaged, the facelifted exterior, observed from Luis' and others spyshots on web, reveals an updated front end with a new V-motion grille design, sleeker headlamps housing new headlamp clusters, re-profiled front bumpers and new alloy rim designs. Changes at the rear could be limited to small tweaks to the bumper, since the said part is hidden with camouflage wrapping. Also noticeable is the new, more aerodynamic side mirrors.

As for the interior, no spyshots exist at the moment. Nissan could introduce small updates to the infotainment and MID displays, as well as new interior colors and seat upholstery that should freshen up the cabin.

Nissan will not introduce a new engine option or any significant mechanical upgrades, reportedly. It could retain the supercharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol hybrid setup and the conventional 3.5-litre V6 petrol variant. Both are offered with an XTronic CVT option as well as an All-Mode 4×4-i Intuitive 4WD system.
