The Maruti Vitara Brezza is officially on sale in Punjab, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu & Kerala, where initial deliveries have commenced at their respective dealerships. The starting price varies between INR 7.04 Lakhs - INR 7.3 Lakhs (ex-showroom) in the above states.
So far, Maruti has received 25,000 orders for its compact SUV within two weeks of its price announcement, of which 1,500 orders were received from from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is available in six grades: LDi, LDi(O), VDi, VDi(O), ZDi, ZDi+. A driver's airbag is standard across the range, while a front passenger airbag and ABS+EBD is optional in lower grades and standard in the Z grades.
It measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,640 mm in height, 2,500 mm in wheelbase and has a ground clearance of 198 mm. It slots into the sub-4m SUV segment that comprises of the Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.

Powering the Vitara Brezza is a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which sends power to the front wheels. The Brezza is capable of a class-leading, ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.3 km/l.
