The new dashboard design brings the automatic climate control feature to the compact sedan.

As revealed earlier, the Amaze facelift gets a bolder chrome grille and front bumper at the front, while the rear sees new taillight clusters. The major talking point though is the all-new interior, which as Indian Autos Blog reported in earlier posts, is derived from the Honda BR-V and the 2016 Honda Mobilio (Indonesian-spec).

Designers have opted for an all-new dashboard with rectangular AC vents, a new instrument cluster and an all-new center console with automatic climate control and a brand-new 2-DIN Bluetooth-enabled music system. The higher variants will get a touchscreen entertainment system. Aside from the dashboard, there are no further changes to the interior of the Amaze facelift.

The Amaze facelift will continue to be powered by the four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

The Honda Amaze facelift will continue using the 1.2-liter i-VTEC petrol and the 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine as the pre-facelift model. Both engines could be tuned for improved fuel economy, though the petrol will continue to get the option of a 5-speed automatic in addition to a manual whereas the diesel will solely be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Honda Amaze facelift, Honda Cars India's second best selling model in India, will rival the likes of the established Maruti Swift Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest and Ford Figo Aspire.
