LED projector headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, puddle lights, smart entry, shark fin antenna and a smart-close trunk-lid are features which were unavailable on the first generation MPV.
Inside, Toyota details the all-new instrument cluster with a color TFT screen, a touchscreen entertainment system with navigation, MIRACAST, Bluetooth, HDMI and web browsing capabilities, automatic climate control, LED ambient lighting, chilled glovebox, captains chairs for the second row with tray tables and one-touch tumble second row seats. The third row of seats retains the same split and stowing arrangement as the outgoing Innova.
On the safety aspect, the 2016 Innova comes with three airbags as standard, whereas the top-end Q variant gets seven airbags, in addition to VSC, Hill Assist control, ABS and EBD.
TAM has commenced dealership dispatch of the 2016 Innova, which is expected to launch in Indonesia on November 23. Bookings are ongoing across all dealerships for Rp 5 million (INR 23,704).
