Launch rumored to take place on November 23.
Dealers of Toyota in Indonesia have started accepting bookings for the 2016 Toyota Innova, reports Otomotif Kompass. Prospective customers are asked to deposit Rp 5 million (INR 23,704) towards the booking.
At present, prospective buyers are indicated that prices of the 2016 Toyota Innova will be similar to the outgoing model. However, post the market launch, which is expected to take place on November 23, customers may choose to not go ahead with their booking.
The 2016 Toyota Innova will come in three variants for the Indonesian market: G, V and Q. All variants will get features like alloy wheels, a touchscreen entertainment system, ABS, EBD and three airbags (dual front airbags+ driver knee airbag).
It'll be offered with a 2.0-liter petrol engine and a 2.4-liter diesel engine, which is from the new 'GD' diesel engine family. Both engines will get an option of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
At the tape, the 2016 Innova measures 4,735 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, 1,795 mm in height and 2,750 mm in wheelbase. It gets 205/65 R16 tyres on all variants, save for the top-end Q diesel variant which is shod with 215/65 R17 wheels.
In Indonesia, Toyota will offer the 2016 Innova in 6 color options.
