The 2016 Mercedes E-Class has been spotted in Milan, Italy by alVolante.it. Codenamed W213, the vehicle still hidden under camouflage, is expected to sport a revamped interior, updated mechanicals, and an S Class like design, as rendered earlier.
Based on the MRA (Mercedes Rear wheel drive Architecture), the new E Class is also expected to grow is size, in order to increase the gap between itself and the new, larger than before C Class.
The interior will adopt circular AC vents, a new COMAND system, and will benefit from the increase in luxury and space. On the engines front, Mercedes is likely to replace the V6 engines with inline-6 units on standard models, 4-litre V8 instead of the current 5.5-litre V8 on the E63, and a hybrid version is expected as well.

The car is expected to be launched in the European market early next year, and an Indian arrival is also likely to take place before the end of the year.
