Facelifted model debuted at 2015 Pebble Beach Concourse D'Elegance.
Lexus has unveiled the 2016 Lexus GS F Sport and the Lexus GS450h at the IAA 2015. This follows the debut of the facelifted 2016 Lexus GS at Pebble Beach this year.
Lexus GS200t F Sport
Like its brothers with the F Sport package, the Lexus GS F Sport features a mesh spindle grille, side sill extensions, black accents for the fog lamps, large 5-spoke dark alloy rims, a rear spoiler and a boot-mounted spoiler.
Changes are similar to the outgoing model, save for few upgrades like a larger 4.2-inch multi-information display, a new multimedia system with a 12.3-inch display and Remote Touch Interface, Lexus Enform Service Connect, and a GPS time-zone-controlled analog clock. Exclusive to the F Sport is a new Rioja red interior color and Naguri aluminum trim.
The model showcased is the GS200t, which packs a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine pumping 241 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It is paired to a new 8-speed automatic gearbox with steering mounted paddles, that drives the rear wheels.
Alongside the GS F Sport, the company has debuted the 2016 Lexus GS450h (facelift).

Similar to the other models in the Lexus lineup, the GS450h features the same kind of cosmetic update that was announced last month. The makeover comprises of the Lexus signature spindle grille surrounded by the satin chrome trim, and the distinctive new Bi-LED headlights offered as standard. The front bumper and rocker panel designs have also been revised. Rounding up the changes outside, are the new rear trim, brushed up tail lights and the new 18- and 19-inch machine-finished alloy wheel designs.
The interior of the 2016 Lexus GS450h for Europe gets a single-piece aluminium housing for the analogue clock and uses LED indicators. The clock is given GPS functionality for adjusting its time zone. The available 12.3-inch multimedia screen now has full-screen map capability. It also has better graphics and enhanced voice recognition. The Remote Touch Interface controller has gotten a new 'enter' button on the side, and the head unit has received a new shortcut menu on the side of the screen to quickly jump to screens of phone, navigation, audio, climate control, and the like. The multi-information display is now larger, measuring 4.2-inch.
The 2016 Lexus GS450h features Lexus Safety System + that comprises of Adaptive High-beam System (AHS), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Pre-Crash System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, and All-Speed Active Cruise Control.
The model is powered by the Lexus Hybrid Drive system incorporating a 3.5-litre V6 Atkinson cycle petrol engine and a water-cooled permanent-magnet electric motor. The net power output is 345 PS.
