Second-gen Jaguar XF stretched exclusively for China.
Jaguar has revealed the specifications of the 2016 Jaguar XF-L in China. The 2016 Jaguar XF-L debuted at Auto China 2016 in April, and has been developed exclusively for China. The Jaguar XF-L measures 5,093 mm in length, 2,091 mm in width (with mirrors) and 1,456 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. The elongated version offers 157 mm more legroom and 116 mm more kneeroom to the rear passengers.
The 2016 Jaguar XF-L will be available in five grades and with two engine options. As standard, the first three grades are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine which produces 200 PS (147 kW/197.18 hp) at 5,500 rpm and 320 Nm of torque at 1,750-4,000 rpm. However, the third grade has an option of a more powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, which delivers 240 hp (177 kW/236.62 hp) at 5,500 rpm and 340 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm.
The 240 PS (147 kW/197.18 hp) 2.0-litre petrol unit is the standard engine in the fourth and fifth grades, or can be swapped for a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine also. This unit develops 340 PS (250 kW/335.21 hp) at 6,500 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission, and this configuration remains across the XF-L range.

The Jaguar XF-L will be the first China-made Jaguar. It will be produced at Chery Jaguar Land Rover's plant in Changshu. It will reportedly go on sale in September.
Meanwhile, JLR India is expected to launch the new generation XF this financial year.
