Honda is showcasing the 2016 Honda Accord (facelift) fitted with Modulo accessories at the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand. The Modulo accessories offered in Thailand includes various styling parts like side skirts, window visors, rear spoiler with integrated stop lamp, special alloy wheels and so on.
The 2016 Honda Accord (facelift) is offered in two trim levels in Thailand: E and EL. Two engines are available: a 2.0-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol unit producing 114 kW (153 hp) and 190 Nm of torque and a 2.4-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol unit from the Earth Dreams Technology stable, good for 128 kW (172 hp) and 225 Nm of torque. The latter is available only in the EL grade. A 5-speed automatic transmission is standard.
In India, the ninth generation Honda Accord will be launched only in its hybrid variant. Showcased at Auto Expo 2016, the 2016 Honda Accord Hybrid features a petrol-electric hybrid system that incorporates a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 141 hp and 165 Nm of torque with an AC Synchronous Permanent Magnet electric motor. In all, the hybrid powertrain makes 196 hp and all that power is sent to the wheels via an electronic continuously variable transmission (e-CVT).
