Colour scheme introduced for the first time.
TVS Motor Company has launched a Special Gold Edition of the Star City+ commuter motorcycle. It is based on the 2015 model of the nameplate.
The most prominent feature on the Gold Special Edition is the white and gold colour pattern which has been introduced for the first time. The new colour pattern include a white base colour with golden graphics, golden 3D brand logo, golden mag wheels, contrasting beige trim on side cowl, a dual textured seat upholstery with red stitching, black shock absorbers, and ‘Bike of the Year’ label with a golden TVS logo on the visor.
K N Radhakrishnan, President and CEO, TVS Motor Company, says "this variant builds on the superiority of TVS Star City+, with Gold theme styling along with exciting new features." He added that "We are confident that this Special Gold Edition TVS Star City+ will also be a huge success with our customers.”
The Gold Edition of the Star City+ gets new features such as tubeless tyres and a USB charging port under the seat. The special model is powered by the regular 109.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, that produces 8.3 hp at 7,000 rpm and 8.7 Nm at 5,000 rpm, mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
The price of the Special Gold Edition TVS Star City+ is INR 48,934 (ex-showroom Delhi).
