Production reported to start in India in April 2016.
For the Indonesian market, the Honda BR-V will be offered in six colors - Crystal Black Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Taffeta White, Lunar Silver Metallic, Passion Red Pearl and Misty Green Pearl. The last three colors are 'all-new' colors, according to Honda.
The Indonesian subsidiary, HPM (Honda Prospect Motor) is undertaking bookings for the BR-V, and has already received over 2,500 orders. HPM is also conducting a nationwide roadshow displaying the BR-V to prospective customers.
The company has confirmed that the BR-V will be produced at its Karawang, West Java, plant from early-2016 with a 1.5-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine developing 120 PS at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm. Transmission choices include a new 6-speed manual or a CVT. The crossover will be made available in a total of 3 variants, with prices ranging between Rp. 230 million to Rp. 265 million (INR 10.83 lakhs and INR 12.48 lakhs).
At the tape, the BR-V measures 4,455 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width, 1,650 mm in height and 2,660 mm in wheelbase with a ground clearance of 200 mm. Honda has confirmed that it will ride on 16-inch alloy wheels.

For India, the BR-V is expected to enter production in April 2016 at the Tapukara, Rajasthan, plant. According to reports, Honda Cars India is considering a more powerful 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel engine for the crossover.
