The BR-V will be available in six colors in Indonesia.
Honda's Indonesian subsidiary, HPM (Honda Prospect Motor) showcased the Honda BR-V at the Makassar Automotive Exhibition in Indonesia this week. The show car was seen in a new 'Lunar Silver' shade, which will be one of six colors to be offered on the BR-V.
HPM will commence manufacturing the BR-V at its Karawang plant from early-2016. The company has already received 2,500 bookings for the crossover, which will be priced between Rp. 230 million to Rp. 265 million (INR 10.83 lakhs and INR 12.48 lakhs).
For the Indonesian market, HPM has confirmed a 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine capable of 120 PS and 145 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. The company has confirmed features such as projector headlights, LED light guides, 16-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, skid plates, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, VSA and Hill start assist for the BR-V.

The BR-V, according to a recent report will enter production at Honda Cars India's Tapukara plant from April 2016. For the Indian market, the BR-V will get a diesel engine with the 1.6-liter i-DTEC being a good possibility. The plant will make around 36,000 units of the crossover in the first year.
