To go on sale on 13 October.
The new Hero Maestro Edge has been launched today with deliveries set to commence on the 13th of October.
The new variant of the Maestro nameplate is underpinned by the company's all-new homegrown platform, with almost no technical relation to the original Hero Maestro scooter. It features an all-new styling, previewed by the Hero Dash prior to the 2014 Auto Expo. The Edge wears a plastic body that is crafted to complement male riders a little more than the female audience.
Likely to be the most expensive scooter in Hero's lineup (pending the release of Hero Duet's pricing), the Maestro Edge features sharp styling with the use of a large handlebar-mounted headlamp, a pair of apron-mounted turn indicators, dual-tone rear view mirrors, a wide LED tail light cluster, motorcycle-like exhaust, and black alloy wheels.

Like the platform, the powertrain of the Maestro Edge is also totally new and developed in-house by Hero MotoCorp in association with its technical partners. It is a 111 cc engine mated to a CVT, that produces 8.43 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 8.30 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
