HX250r looks promising with under Seat exhaust & Abs disc brakes, I don’t really expect the engine to be real performer looking at the power figures of New extreme. Where current extreme makes 14.4nm torque new 150cc xtreme sports only manages to output 12.8nm. We’ll waiting & hoping the indigenously developed engines do justice.

This unveiling was more about Hero’s new engines than products. Hero won’t be using Honda’s engines anymore & will use these newly own developed engines. Though new 111cc engine’s power figures are better than Honda activa but Honda still will have an upper hand as they are moving to 125cc which will off course more powerful.

139Kg….wow now that is some power to weight ratio there….if HX250 comes out under 1.5 lacs OTR, it will have all the potential to set record sales figures….anything above it and people will think twice as there is a much better alternative in the form of Duke 390.

Nice to hear about the 250cc sports bike, Hope they keep the cost to performance ratio in check to challenge bajaj – KTM aliance. Way to Go Hero.
