The engine options remain the same.
The 2015 Toyota Etios has started reaching the Brazilian showrooms, and Novidades Automotivas have some pictures to share before the official announcement. The refreshed hatchback and sedan have no exterior changes but the interiors have significant updates.
The biggest change is the new three-spoke multifunction steering wheel that is lifted from the latest Corolla. The grey tone for the dashboard has been changed to full-black and the centrally-mounted instrument console has been given a new background with blue accents, akin to the Etios Cross.
In terms of equipment, the driver seat height adjustor is now made standard across the range. The refreshed range also receives one-touch driver side power window and 'headlamps on' warning. The mid-level XS sports a new audio system with Bluetooth connectivity while the XLS adds leather seats. The top-end Platinum trim has a new multimedia infotainment system with digital TV, GPS, DVD, Bluetooth and reverse parking camera.
The engine options are left untouched. The hatchback can be specified with a 1.3-litre or a 1.5-litre flex-fuel engine while the sedan is available with the latter. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
