New hatchback to come with Skoda's modern design language.
Skoda has revealed a couple more teaser images of the 2015 Fabia. Seen here are the grille and a top-view of the headlight cluster and the bonnet. The grille of the hatchback takes inspiration from the new Octavia, while the top-view of the bonnet shows a L-shape crease to accentuate the design of the car.
The company said that production of the new Fabia will commence later this month at the main plant in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic. As far technical details go, the new Fabia is announced to be 9 cm wider than its predecessor, yet 65 kg lighter.
Power for the car will come from three- and four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines ranging from a 1.0-liter MPI to a 1.4-liter TDI. The new Fabia is claimed to be 17 percent more efficient than the outgoing model.

The Fabia is announced to have its premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October this year. However, launching the car in India is not of utmost priority for the Indian operations of the brand, as it continues to battle it out with cars like the Rapid and above.
