Features an updated front-end and interior equipment.
Mahindra has launched the facelifted 2015 Mahindra "New Age" XUV500 in the South African market. It is available in three trims: W4, W6 and W8, and prices start from ZAR 262,995 - ZAR 359,995 (INR 12.68 Lakhs - INR 17.36 Lakhs).
The new XUV500 comes with an updated front-end that loses the aggressive faux intake whiskers for a pair of chrome L-shaped accents housing the re-positioned fog lamps. The toothed grille has chrome inserts, and is flanked by headlamps with new LED pilot lamps. The rest of the exterior is largely identical to the outgoing model.
The South African-spec Mahindra XUV500 comes with an all-black interior with black leather upholstery and silver accents. As for equipment, it now offers an updated infotainment system via a 7-inch touchscreen display, reverse parking camera, cruise control, power foldable ORVMs, and automatic climate control. Safety features include six airbags, ABS, ESP, Hill Descent and hold, and all wheel disc brakes.
