The Verna facelift was launched in India in February 2015.
Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributors of Hyundai products in Nepal, will launch the 4S Fluidic Verna (facelift) this month. The Verna facelift was launched in India in February this year, and comes with cosmetic and minor fuel efficiency updates.
The front fascia is given redesigned headlight clusters with projector headlights, a dual-slat chrome grille and a new bumper. The rear also gets a new bumper with new reflectors, LED-effect taillights and concealed exhaust tips.
Inside, the front co-passenger seat is given an 'Ergo' lever, with which the rear passenger can adjust the seat for increased legroom. The Verna facelift continues to get features like an integrated audio system with Bluetooth compatibility and 1GB of internal storage, steering-mounted controls, reverse camera and parking sensors and optional leather seats.
The Verna facelift is offered with 1.4- and 1.6-liter petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmissions in the Indian market. The diesel engines on the Verna facelift return higher fuel efficiency in comparison to the pre-facelift model (the 1.4-liter diesel returns 1.3 km/l more at 24.8 km/l and the 1.6-liter diesel is claimed at 23.9 km/l).

All variants of the Verna facelift are offered with ABS as standard fitment. Mid-range models get dual front airbags while the top-end SX gets 6 airbags. For Nepal, Hyundai Motor India Limited's (HMIL) Chennai plant will export the sedan.
