Offered with two diesel engines in Thailand.
Chevrolet Sales Thailand recently showcased the updated 2015 Chevrolet Trailblazer at an event. Launched earlier this month, the updated Trailblazer gets a new Satin Steel Gray color and LED taillights on the outside.
Inside, the SUV gets a Piano Black treatment for the dashboard, centre console, and steering wheel, and improved sound deadening.
For the Thai market, GM sells the Trailblazer with a 2.5-liter inline diesel engine capable of 163 hp at 3,600 rpm and 380 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, and a 2.8-liter inline diesel developing 200 hp at 3,600 rpm and 500 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm.
The lesser powerful engine is paired to a 6-speed manual while the 2.8-liter gets a 6-speed automatic. Save for the top-end variant with the 2.8-liter engine, all other variants are 2WD only.
GM India has confirmed the launch of the Trailblazer for 2015, though the company has not shared the specifications of the Indian model. GM India is also yet to announce if the SUV will be brought in through the CBU or CKD route.
