Was launched in Nepal in July.
Go Ford, the authorized distributors of Ford vehicles in Nepal, are showcasing the refreshed Ford Fiesta at the 2014 Nepal Auto Show (NADA 2014). The car was launched in Nepal in July this year in three variants, priced from INR 20.62 lakhs (NPR 3.299 million).
The refreshed sedan benefits from newly designed headlights clusters, an Aston Martin-like grille, new bumpers, tweaked taillights and a new alloy wheel design. The exterior design changes have improved the car's drag coefficient by 3 percent which has also led to an improvement in the fuel efficiency.
Where the old car delivered 23.5 km/l, the refreshed Fiesta is able to achieve 25.01 km/l (tested by the ARAI). The engine however is the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel producing 91 PS (89.7 bhp) and 204 Nm of torque. It is matched to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Interior changes come in the form of new seat fabrics and a piano-black center console. The console houses Ford's new SYNC with AppLink system which is capable of voice recognition.
Other features include a height-adjustable steering wheel, driver side airbag, ABS, EBD, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, electric boot release, rear center armrest, foldable rear seat, automatic wipers and headlights and dual airbags. The Fiesta is priced between NPR 32.99 lakh - 41.50 lakh.
