Suzuki has launched a sporty edition on the Ertiga in Indonesia. The Suzuki Ertiga Sporty, as it is called, is visually enhanced thanks to a fully body kit which is seen in these images below.
The Ertiga Sporty was first shown at the Indonesia International Motor Show in September last year. Following the customer feedback from the show, this edition is on sale in two variants: manual and automatic transmission.
The Suzuki Ertiga Sporty GL M/T Double Blower is priced at 180.35 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 9.53 lakhs), while the Ertiga Sporty GL A/T Double Blower is priced at 191.35 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 10.11 lakhs). Based on the GL Double Blower variant, the Sporty commands a price increase of 13.05 million Rupiah (INR 68,995) for the body kit.
Side skirts, rear spoiler, bumper spoilers and new front and rear bumpers are the changes seen on the Ertiga Sporty. The alloy wheels are of a new design, and they are included with 205/55 16-inch tires.
The Indonesian Ertiga is assembled from CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits shipped by Maruti's factory in Gurgaon. Only the petrol version of the MPV is sold in Indonesia and the 1.4-liter 95 PS, K-14 engine is the same as the Indian model.
The Ertiga Sporty is launched at a time where the light MPV segment in Indonesia witnessed a new offering in the Honda Mobilio.
In India, Maruti showcased the Ertiga Altair at the Auto Expo.
