Indian Motorcycles, America's first motorcycle company established in 1901, announced its arrival in India today with three motorcycles.
Indian Motorcycles price in India (ex-showroom Delhi)
- Indian Classic - 26.5 lakh
- Indian Vintage - 29.5 lakh
- Indian Chieftain - 33 lakh
Polaris acquired Indian Motorcycles in 2011. All bikes will be CBU import and the first dealership is in Delhi.
Indian Chieftain
The Indian Chieftan is powered by a 1,811 cc engine that develops 139 Nm @ 2,800 rpm. It is matched to a 6-speed transmission.
The bike measures 2,571 mm x 1,011 mm x 1,529 mm (L x W x H), sporting a 1,669 mm wheelbase, with a 21-liter fuel tank and 629 kg gross vehicle weight.
Indian Vintage
The Indian Vintage is powered by a 1,811 cc engine that develops 139 Nm @ 2,800 rpm. It is matched to a 6-speed transmission.
The bike measures 2,634 mm x 1,011 mm x 1491 mm (L x W x H) with a wheelbase of 1,730 mm. It sports a 21-liter fuel tank and a 572 kg gross vehicle weight.
Indian Classic
The Indian Classic is powered by a 1,811 cc engine that develops 139 Nm @ 2,800 rpm. It is matched to a 6-speed transmission.
The bike measures 2,629 mm x 1,011 mm x 1,172 mm (L x W x H) with a wheelbase of 1,730 mm. The bike gets a 21-liter fuel tank and a 572 kg gross weight
