The 2014 Fiat Strada would be introduced in the Brazilian market between 15 and 17 October, Autossegredos reports.
The website is also carrying images of the facelift from the Fiat Betim factory yard. The refreshed Strada has a considerably different styling compared to the current version with a new bumper with chrome garnish around the foglamps, a differently split radiator grille and a contrasting gray scuff plate.
The side profile has also changed with the inclusion of a broader rear window and a character line below the glass areas. The heavily bolstered plastic wheel arches are replaced by ones sporting a simpler design.
The Palio-based pickup in the 'Working' outfit gets a 1.4-liter 'EVO' engine that generates up to 88 horses, replacing the 1.4L FIRE unit. 'Trekking' and 'Adventure' versions would also be available with more potent 1.6 and 1.8 E.torQ engines.
