Renault have made the Duster facelift official now, after we showed you a few leaked images yesterday. In a nutshell, the Renault Duster facelift is the Dacia Duster facelift with Renault badges and a different design for its grille.
The front fascia receives an "emphatic" look, and gets double-optic headlights with daytime running lights. The roof rails get Duster logos, and the alloy wheels are now 16-inch rims in a 'Dark Metal' shade.
The rear of the Duster gets a new "castellated nameplate trim", a chrome tip for the exhaust, new font for the 4WD badge, and reprofiled taillights. A new body color, 'Cometé Grey' has been included as well.
The interiors see a new center console and a new instrument cluster. Renault have also added a few features which are listed below:
- Cruise control and speed limiter
- Rear park assist
- Electronic Stability Control
- Dual front airbags fitted as standard
On the engine front, Renault haven't announced the 1.2-liter TCe turbo-petrol for the Duster facelift (the Dacia Duster facelift is now available with this engine option). However, engineers have worked to reduce the noise levels on the car, and this is what they've managed -
Engines mated to the six-speed manual gearbox also benefit from improved acoustics at high speed; the noise level at 130 kph in New Renault Duster is comparable to that at 90 kph on the previous version.
