Will the BMW X6 facelift launch in India on November 22?
Kaustubh Shinde, They say sooner or later your passion finds you. Sometime in late 2009, I started writing for IAB and ever since then it has been a roller coaster ride for me. An amazing experience that has taught me a lot, taken me to new places, driven some great cars and met some amazing people. When you don't find me on IAB (very rarely), you will find me either at a coffee shop or an eatery or at the nearest gadget store. Hope you enjoy IAB as much as we do!
BMW India may be planning to launch the facelifted X6 in the Indian market on 22nd of November.
The BMW X6 LCI (Life-Cycle Impulse is BMW’s way of saying ‘facelift’) was revealed long back in January 2012. It gets significant updates such as –
- Redesigned front bumper
- Flat bottom, adaptive corona rings (like the new 3 Series) along with optional full LED headlamps.
- Newly designed taillights with LED lights
- New Alloys
- Three new colours – Marrakech Brown metallic, Orion Silver metallic and Midnight Blue metallic
The interiors have not been disturbed. A few leather options have been added to the customization list.

The BMW X6 was launched in India way back in 2009. It may never be volume puller but it is definitely an impressive piece of machinery, as there’s nothing like it in the stables of competitors. In India, we get the BMW X6 xDrive50i and BMW X6 xDrive30d at 93.4 lakhs and 76.2 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
Expect the prices to be in the same range.
