Features LED headlamps, DRLs, rear parking camera and new 16-inch alloy wheels.
As per two readers who got in touch with IAB this morning, the new range-topping VW Vento Highline Plus variant has started arriving at Volkswagen dealerships, and a price announcement will come in February.
The Highline Plus is the newest variant to join the lineup, which introduces features like LED headlamps, DRLs, rear parking camera and new 16-inch alloy wheels to VW's best-selling sedan, along with the Highline variant's slew of creature comforts. Showcased at the Auto Expo 2016, VW had then stated that it was for export markets.
The 2016 VW Vento Highline Plus will offer the same choice between three engine options – a 1.6-litre MPI naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol, 1.2-litre TSI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel. There is even speculation that a 125 PS 1.4-litre 4-cyl TSI is also in the mix.

A 5-speed manual is standard in the 1.6 MPI and 1.5 TDI variants, while a 7-speed DSG pairs with the TSI variant as standard, and on the TDI as an option.
