Gets improved safety tech, and more powerful engines.
The Volkswagen Sharan facelift has been unveiled in official pictures. The vehicle gets an updated exterior, a more feature rich interior, and new engines.
Starting with the exterior, the Volkswagen Sharan facelift gets new LED taillamps, and new 'Jakarta' alloy wheels. Two new colour choices - Hudson Bay Blue Metallic and Crimson Red Metallic - have been added too.
On the inside, the vehicle now gets a new steering wheel, a colour MID, new interior trims, and an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay ready infotainment system available in two screen sizes: 5-inch and 6.5-inch. The latter can also be specced with navigation support. Depending on the market, the vehicle will be available in five, six, and seven seat configurations.
The safety tech has been upped, too. Multi-collision braking comes standard, while the added options include autonomous braking, adaptive cruise control, and park assist. The engine line-up is said to be updated with higher power figures.
The petrol engine line-up includes the 150 PS 1.4-litre TSI and a 220 PS 2.0-litre TSI. Diesel engines include a 115 PS, a 150 PS, and 184 PS versions, and displace 2.0-liters. The least powerful diesel excluded, all engines are available with a 6-speed DSG transmission, while 4Motion all-wheel drive system is available on the 150 PS engine.
