Along with the facelifted VW Polo and VW Vento, the VW Ameo is also available in a new GT Line trim now. The VW Ameo GT Line has been priced at INR 9.99 lakh*.
In terms of exteriors, the Ameo GT Line gets sporty decals on the doors, chrome-finished door handles, blacked-out roof, a GT Line badge on the front fenders and black ORVM caps. New Sunset Red, Lapiz Blue, Reflex Silver, Candy White and Carbon Steel are the colour choices available. The interior is no indifferent from the regular car.
Volkswagen sells the Ameo GT Line with only the 1.5L TDI engine which delivers 110 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque. While this engine is available with 5-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission choices in the regular car, the latter is standard in the GT Line trim. The fuel economy rating is 21.73 km/l.
The VW Ameo GT Line is based on the VW Ameo Highline Plus. This means that it gets all the bells and whistles offered in the VW Ameo. shares all the safety features with the Ameo Highline Plus variant. In terms of safety, it packs ABS, dual-front airbags, front disc brakes, height-adjustable head restraints (front and rear), electronic engine immobiliser with floating code, anti-pinch power windows (front and rear), Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP), hill-hold control and more.

The VW Ameo GT Line 1.5L TDI-DSG costs the same as the VW Ameo 1.5L TDI-DSG. This means that it offers additional styling features at no extra cost.
