The Vespa Urban Club 125 will feature a matte paint. Its wheels, rear-view mirror housing, front fender garnish and highlights to the apron in black colour, and a black border will surround the tail light. The standard Vespa LX125 features a chrome and silver finish to these parts. That said, the headlight mask will have a chrome finish only, though. The Urban Club 125 will receive CBS as standard. A report from last month claimed that the ZX125 CBS would replace the standard Vespa LX125. The Vespa LX125 is sold in only a drum brake version, and the Urban Club 125 also will be sold in only a drum brakes version. Mechanical specifications will be no different from the LX125. The Urban Club 125 will be propelled by the same 125 cc single-cylinder, fan-cooled engine with a carburettor that churns out 9.76 bhp of max power and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. This BS-IV motor will be paired with a CVT. Suspension department, too, will be identical to the LX125, a single-sided arm hydraulic front unit and a hydraulic shock absorber at the back. The Urban Club 125 will join the Vespa ZX 125 to compete with the Suzuki Access 125, TVS Ntorq 125 and the Honda Grazia 125 in the Indian market. The Urban Club 125 will start reaching dealerships within the next two weeks.
