Lineup includes only the 125 cc models.
Piaggio India through its Nepalese distributor D-Lifestyles has presented the Vespa lineup at the NADA Auto Show 2015. There are two variants and one special edition displayed at the booth.
The price of the Vespa VX (regular) in Nepal is NPR 2,49,946 (INR 1.55 lakhs) and that of Vespa S (regular) is NPR 2,63,946 (INR 1.64 lakhs). The limited edition, the Vespa Elegante based on the VX model, is priced in Nepal at NPR 2,54,946 (INR 1.58 lakhs). The Vespa scooters in Nepal were launched just last month, making NADA 2015 the trade fair premiere for the brand.
All the models are powered by the same 125 cc air-cooled single-cylinder 3-valve engine, producing 10 bhp maximum power and 10.6 Nm peak torque, mated to a Continuously Varying Transmission (CVT).
The Vespa VX (with the round headlamp & rear view mirrors) is offered in Nepal in five colours - Lime Yellow, Dragon Red, Portovenere Green, Monte Bianco White and Midnight Blue. The Vespa S (with the square headlamp and rear view mirrors) gets 4 colours - Monte Bianco White, Dragon Red, Taormina Orange and Matt Black.
The limited edition, the Vespa Elegante, is characterized chiefly by the contrast split seats.
