The Ciaz will soon be sold through Maruti's NEXA dealerships exclusively.
Maruti's mid-size premium sedan will soon be sold through their NEXA line of premium dealerships exclusively, for which a Team-BHP reader has managed to acquire the updated variant lineup.
The Maruti Ciaz is currently sold through their regular chain of dealerships, with the grade hierarchy - V(O), V+, Z, and Z+. With the shift to NEXA, the Maruti Ciaz will adopt the Baleno's grade hierarchy: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Exclusive to the Ciaz is a new 'S' grade variant, which is likely to be the current Ciaz RS with the sportier body kit.
No changes have been made to the engine lineup. The Ciaz will continue with the 1.3L 4-cyl turbodiesel DDiS 200 engine with the mild-hybrid SHVS system, and a 1.4L K14B 4-cyl N/A petrol engine with 95 PS. All 5 grades of the Ciaz get a 5-speed manual gearbox in both petrol and diesel variants, while the 4-speed automatic transmission exclusive to the petrol variant is exclusive to Delta, Zeta and Alpha grades.

Last month, spyshots of a Maruti Ciaz from a stockyard revealed that the Maruti Suzuki lettering and variant badges were dropped, leaving the 'Ciaz' lettering, Maruti Suzuki Logo and SHVS badge (if diesel variant). This is more than likely to be seen on all Ciaz examples that will be sold through the NEXA dealership network.
