Update- Maruti-Suzuki's exports to increase; A-Star to aid the cause

India's most popular car maker Maruti says it's exports will increase considerably in the coming the years. As many as 200,000 cars a year with the Maruti badge will leave India in 2010-11.

Independent of exports, Maruti is also looking forward to increment domestic sales figures to a million cars a year in the same period. Who said the Tata Nano is solely going to increase congestion?

The small-car specialist is also working on a variety of fuel efficient engines for its future models. The A-Star, which is anticipated to enter the market in a few months time, will arrive with one of the world's most fuel efficient and eco-friendly power plants.

The future of the Automotive market is big. In fact, it's all going to be small !
