The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has reached a milestone of 1 lakh unit sales in India, within six months of the introduction. The bike was launched in the country in March 2018.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V shares its design with the Apache RTR 200 4V and is the newest offering from the bikemaker. The Apache RTR 160 4V is available in three variants – Carb, Rear Disc & Rear Disc + EFI. The base model costs INR 82,810 and INR 85,810 for the Rear Disc variant, while the EFI variant costs INR 91,810 (all the prices are ex-showroom Delhi).

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V sources power from a 159.7 cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, 4-valve, air-cooled engine with oil cooler. The carburetted/fuel-injected motor produces 16.8/16.5 PS (EFI/Carb) of maximum power at 8000 rpm and 14.8 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Apache RTR 160 4V is the most powerful motorcycle in the 160 cc segment.

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has a top speed of 114 km/h for the EFI version and 113 km/h for the Carb model. The bike can sprint from 0-60 km/h in 4.8 seconds and 4.73 seconds for the EFI and Carb variants, respectively. It comes with three colour options - Racing Red, Knight Black and Metallic Blue.
