There have been quite a few special edition models of the Suzuki Swift worldwide since the new generation launched in 2010. The Swift is one of the most loved hatchbacks throughout the world and the company never misses a chance to show something special on every important occasion.
At the Geneva Motor Show last week there were two special editions of the Swift. One is the based on the regular model called the Swift Sergio Cellano while the other is based on the Swift Sport, also a Sergio Cellano edition.
Suzuki Swift Sergio Cellano edition
The Swift Sergio Cellano comes with the 94 PS 1.2 litre K Series petrol engine and is based on the top of the line GL variant. The added goodies include a rear roof spoiler, 16" alloy wheels, Sergio Cellano branding on the rear door, matte finished front grill and auto Start/Stop system. Standard features include ABS, airbags, audio system with USB connectivity.
The interior sports a special fabric with contrast red stitching. The floor mats have "Sergio Cellano" embroidered on them.
Suzuki Swift Sport Sergio Cellano edition
The Swift Sport Sergio Cellano is even more visually enhanced. The black car has twin black racing stripes with blue roof. Other exterior features include bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and 17" multispoke alloy wheels. The interior gets racing bucket seats which are finished in blue and black to complement the exterior theme.
The Swift Sport is powered by the 134 bhp 1.6 litre petrol unit and is bestowed with features like multiple airbags, ABS with traction control, Alpine 2 DIN multimedia infotainment system, parking sensors, keyless start, AC with pollen filter, etc.
The Swift Sergio Cellano edition is priced at 17,990 Swiss Franc (around Rs. 10.27 lakhs) and the Swift Sport Sergio Cellano retails at 23,990 Swiss Franc (around Rs. 13.69 lakhs).
